Sunraysia Regional Consulting (SRC) is a recognised Learn Local provider, funded by the Victorian Government to deliver free pre-accredited training for adults in the Sunraysia region.
Our programs are open to adults from all backgrounds and are designed to be accessible, supportive, and practical.

Whether you are returning to learning, preparing for employment, or building everyday digital and communication skills, we are here to support you.


You are eligible if you:

  • Are 17 years or older
  • Live in Victoria (NSW border residents are also welcome)
  • Are not enrolled in school
  • Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or an eligible asylum seeker

There are no tuition fees, no materials fees, and no hidden costs.
Classes are small, friendly, and designed for adult learners.


Below are the 2026 Learn Local programs delivered by SRC.


Terms 1-4

Commencing 23rd April

A beginner-friendly introduction to using artificial intelligence safely and effectively for everyday tasks, learning, and work.

Commencing 2nd February

A supportive entry point into the community services sector. Builds confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and foundational understanding of workplace expectations.

2 & 4

Commencing 22nd April

A pathway program designed to prepare learners for further study or entry-level roles in community services. Includes communication, documentation, casework basics, and practical employability skills.


Terms 1-4

Commencing 27th January

A practical course for adults who want to build confidence using computers, smartphones, email, apps, online forms, and essential digital tools for daily life and work.

Commencing 20th April

An introductory program for people interested in working with children. Covers communication, duty of care, safety, documentation, and pathways into accredited Early Childhood qualifications.

Commencing 20th May

An introductory course that explores the health services sector, communication skills, documentation basics, workplace expectations, and pathways into further training or entry-level roles.

Commencing 16th July

A supportive program that introduces learners to roles in aged care, disability support, and community-based care. Includes communication, teamwork, documentation, and employability skills for the care sector.


TErms 1-4

Commencing 20th April

A structured, supportive course to help adults prepare for the VicRoads Learner Permit test. Ideal for learners who benefit from guided study and group learning.
