SRC partners with businesses across Sunraysia to place job-ready Indigenous employees and provide ongoing post-placement support.
We make hiring easier by assisting employers with:
- identifying suitable candidates
- pre-screening applicants
- arranging interviews
- providing cultural awareness support if needed
- ongoing mentoring for both the employer and employee
Indigenous Employment Incentive (Employer Payment)
Local employers who hire eligible Indigenous jobseekers through SRC may be able to access up to $5,000 in employer wage incentives, paid in instalments based on the jobseeker’s continued employment.
Eligibility requirements apply, and our team will guide you through the process.
Apprenticeships & Traineeships – Additional Employer Incentives
Employers may also be eligible for further Federal Government incentives when hiring an Indigenous jobseeker into a traineeship or apprenticeship.
Incentives depend on:
- the qualification level
- whether the occupation is on the Priority List
- the jobseeker’s individual circumstances
Because these payments change frequently, SRC will help employers understand their current entitlements and connect them with their AASN provider.
